Aleksander Albreht— The Wizard (Director, Founder and Culinary Artist)
Alex worked in hospitality for over 16 years in reputable establishments and institutions such as the Royal Society of Arts and Westminster Kingsway College.
Accumulating several awards both in Austria and his native Slovenia for his daring culinary approach, Aleksander has touched all aspects of food and hospitality, from creating, managing to teaching and co-authoring a nationwide textbook “Hospitality Supervision Level 3” for Vocational Education.
Driven by a passion for quality and impeccable service Aleksander believes that food, drink and produce should be presented and consumed in an environment that respects the ingredients, the customer and the experience.
Lowry Cremer Roberts— Karantania Protegee (Senior Operations Manager)
Born and raised in England, Lowry gained his customer experience through work with some renowned companies such as John Lewis. He also worked in far East Asia as restaurant manager for several months. Lowry will make you the tastiest and juciest sandwich ever and guide you with ease through the range of products on the Karantania Deli Stall.
Lowry joined Karantania Deli Team in November 20111 and he was promoted to a managerial role in February 2012.
Aleksandra Grbec— Health & Safety Queen (Junior Operations Manager)
Aleksandra joined Karantania Deli in February 2013. She has several years experince in hospitality and tourism and she holds a degree in Tourism Management. Aleksandra is our Queen for Helth & Safety and HACCP which makes her an important part of the team. But most importantly, a psychic told her that she would retire to Brazil by the age of 52— her birth certificate has vanished, God bless her!
Alice Green— Cake Alchemist (Senior Market Trader)
Lady from Ozz, Alice is the team energy booster. Alice joined the Karantania Deli Team in June 2012 and since then she has become an extremely valuable member of our bunch. Her devotion for comunity work brings that important balance to the team. Alice is also an animal lover and she has two really cute snakes in her care, plus fluffy cats, and a cuddly staffy. She makes our team very hapy when she creates her very special cake.
Izabela Fronczyk— Travel Fairy (Senior Market Trader)
Born in her native Poland Iza joind Karantania Deli in March 2012. After finishing her degree in Enviromental Management Iza had several positions in customer service driven companies. With her business acumen she started her own travel company called Polanka Travel, but continued to be unmissable part of Karantania Deli team. With her passion for sales and bubbly personality she is the customer's favourite.
Maggie Doherty— Market Trader
Maggie is a student nurse and works part time as a market trader for Karantania Deli. She is passionate about Karantania Deli and always happy to fully endorse any of the products available. She enjoys trying the new innovations from the kitchen and delighting customers with the details of how these concoctions came to be.
Gustavo Llorens— Chef-manager
Gustavo was born in sunny Canary Island and he joined Karantania Deli Team in September 2012. He was working in several restaurants across Spain and he gained valuable experiences in Mediterranean cooking. He is master of Lepinya bread and all deli dishes served on our stalls.
Viktor Lukacs— Baker
Viktor comes from land of pastries and cakes called Hungary. Viktor joined Karantania Team in April 2013. He was gaining his experiences on several positions in London bakeries and patisseries. He has touch for the dough which makes all our pastries and cakes so delicious and light
Andrzej Borsyak— Commis Chef/KP
Andrzej comes from Poland. He is very skilful whit knife and sometimes machine is slower that his speedy hands. He helps us keep kitchen clean and he always give helping had to all team members when needed.
